Booking & Payment
We must receive your booking in writing on our booking form together with a deposit of 1/3rd of the total rent.
The booking is complete once we have sent you confirmation of the booking either in writing or by email.
The balance is payable 4 weeks before your holiday starts, together with the cautionary deposit.
We are not and shall not be responsible for sending reminders of the due date
Non payment of the balance will be construed as cancellation of the contract.
Overseas booking -Payment may be made direct into our bank account or by a sterling cheque drawn on a UK Bank
Once a booking has been confirmed, it can only be changed with our written permission.
We reserve the right to accept or refuse bookings in our absolute discretion.
Authority to Accept
The person who completes the booking and therefore accepts these booking conditions confirms that:-
a) he or she is authorised to agree the booking conditions on behalf of all persons included in the booking including those substituted or added at a a later date.
b) he or she is over 18 years old and is a member of the party intending to occupy the property and
c) he or she agrees to take responsibility for the party occupying the property.
In the event of cancellation we will make every endeavor to re-let the property, in which case a full refund will be made, less an administration fee of £30.
However if we are unable to re-let please note that you will be liable for the full cost of the rental, we therefore strongly advise that you take out cancellation insurance.
Arrival and Departure Time
Monday 4.00 p.m departing Monday 10.a.m.
Groups of Young People
We cannot accept bookings of groups of people under the age of 25
Number in Party
This must not exceed the number confirmed in the booking unless confirmed in writing prior to the commencement of the holiday in writing from ourselves.
Non Availability of the Property
If for any reason the property booked is not available on the date booked or becomes unsuitable for holiday letting all rent will be refunded in full and we will cancel the booking. You will have no further claim against us.
To pay for telephone charges incurred during your letting (apart from UK landline calls which are free)
To vacate the property by 10 a.m. on the day of departure
Right of Entry - You must allow us reasonable access to the property
Loss, Damage and Care of the Property
You are responsible for taking good care of the property and to leave it in a clean and tidy condition at the end of the letting. A cleaning service is not provided during the letting period unless previously specified and agreed.
You will liable to pay for any losses or damage caused by you or any member of your party (excluding reasonable wear and tear)
An inventory will be provided at the property and it is your responsibility to inspect this and to report any discrepancies with 24 hours of arrival, if no discrepancies are reported, the inventory will be deemed to be correct.
A Cautionary Deposit of £500 for the Cowshed and £150 for the Dairy is payable with the balance of the full rental. We shall be entitled to deduct from this the cost of remedying any breach in these conditions and shall be entitled to charge any additional amount where this cautionary deposit does not fully cover the cost of remedy.
We do not accept liability for any act, neglect or default on our part, nor for any accident,loss, costs, expenses, injury or any other inconvenience or claim foe compensation whatsoever, whether to person or property, which you or any other person may suffer or incur arising out of, or in any way connected with the letting. We do not accept any liability for loss or damage to your possessions whilst on our property or land used in connection with the letting.
All rubbish to be cleared from site before leaving, (If we are required to clear the site a charge will be made).
No fireworks or chinese lanterns - these scare the livestock and are dangerous.
Music must be finished by midnight.
All complaints must be notified to us as soon as reasonably practical, and we may have to carry out on the spot investigation and carry out remedial action. If we are denied the opportunity of investigating the complaint within a reasonable time or denied the opportunity to put matters right this may result in the reasonable reduction of any compensation payable arising out of such a complaint.
Breach of Contract
If there is any material breach of these conditions we reserve the right to re-enter the property and to terminate the letting.
Data and Privacy
In making a booking we make use of your personal information such as your name, postal address, email address, telephone number and payment details,
By booking with us you have consented to use of personal information and is kept in accordance to the Data Protection Act 1998.
Wi-Fi is available for use in the property, the terms and conditions of use of which, are provided in the information pack within the the property. Use of the internet connection is deemed to be your acceptance of these terms and conditions.
